lyrics

Is there happiness where you are? Being sold the fear by the voices from afar. Can't you see they all play a part? They care not for you, machine men, with machine hearts! Is your happiness built to last? Colours cut and dyed in the wool and on the mast, talk of promises made of glass. I can spare a thought for the seasons as they pass.

You've been waiting oh so long for the winter, will that bring it around? The leaves are yet to leave the tree's think now, of now.

Sing to me so I don't feel alone, and make it something delicate, or out of key, or forced. I care not if the words are wrong they live with me, let me hear the music in these hopes. There can be no divide.

The horizon brings the false dawn. There's a man on screen with his hand upon his heart telling me I need to believe, and I ask myself "Am I that naive?".

To concede his honesty is a given, ever given not earned. The truth will out, I'll come around if you, won't you.

Sing to me so I don't feel alone, and make it something delicate, or out of key, or forced. I care not if the words are wrong they live with me, let me hear the music in these hopes. There can be no divide.

Where's your heart? Where's your home? Though the compass dial might try its best I'll know, where to go, and the cross I'm on will land where it wants (in my soul).

Sing to me so I don't feel alone, and make it something delicate, or out of key, or forced. I care not if the words are wrong they live with me, let me hear the music in these hopes. There can be no divide.
